Finally, we are on-line! After leaving my previous employer, I first finalized the renovation of our house and re-planted our garden and then I started developing my own business and working on my network. And finally, I can go live as an independent consultant combining my knowledge and experience in agriculture and environmental science.
In this blog / news column I am planning to write about new developments, insights which not always will be the standard narrative. For example, in the mind of environmentalists - not only activists but also environmentalists working in business - cattle raising is seen as a major contributes of climate change. I can say a lot about this - in my view wrong - narrative, but looking at new research and publications, there is more and more evidence that integrated agriculture has less negative impact on climate and can even remove carbon of the atmosphere. Integrated agriculture with cattle raising is not a problem for climate change but part of the solution. How to do this: in the next blog I have summarized a recent Swedish research on the impact of integrated agriculture on climate change.
Happy readings!
